Mission-systems engineering, test & evaluation, and analysis for the missile-defense and Army-aviation portfolios.
Hardgrove Defense Group provides mission-systems engineering, range-side test and evaluation support, and modeling-simulation-analysis (M&SA) work for the prime contractors and government program offices that anchor the Huntsville defense corridor. We are a small business by deliberate choice. We staff senior engineers and we ship work the program office can use.
Mission-Systems Engineering
Sensor and effector integration on missile-defense, Army-aviation, and hypersonics platforms. Architecture trade analysis, interface authority on multi-vendor stacks, and the systems-engineering discipline that survives the Critical Design Review.
Test & Evaluation
Range-side T&E support including test-plan authoring, instrumentation oversight, and post-test reduction. Coordination with the test range, the program's chief T&E officer, and the customer's operational test community.
Modeling, Simulation & Analysis
Weapon-system effectiveness analysis, engagement modeling, and survivability studies in support of program engineering and program-office decisions. M&S verification and validation against the customer's accreditation regime.
Posture
Roughly two-thirds of our active portfolio is multi-year work for tier-1 primes on missile defense and Army aviation programs. The balance is direct task-order work for government customers under prime-held IDIQ vehicles. We staff conservatively and turn down work that would compress the engineering cycle below what the program needs.
Compliance
Hardgrove operates with practices aligned to AS9100D quality and CMMC Level 2 cybersecurity expectations, with NIST SP 800-171 controls applied to CUI work. Export-control posture and personnel-security posture are sized to the requirements of our active programs and discussed during qualified-prime engagement.
Where we are
Headquartered in Huntsville, AL, two miles from Redstone Arsenal Gate 9. Active deployment to ranges and customer sites across the southeast and southwest depending on the program.
